Jennifer Anderson Dillard

Jennifer Anderson Dillard, M. CD, CCC

Jennifer Anderson Dillard, M.CD, CCC-A has been practicing Audiology in Huntsville since 2001. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University in 1994 and earned her Master of Communication Disorders in Audiology from Auburn University in 1995. In 1996, Jennifer completed her Clinical Fellowship Year at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, both located in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a clinical and research audiologist at both hospitals from 1996-2001. She is certified by the American Speech –Language- Hearing Association and holds a Clinical Certificate of Competency. Jennifer is licensed by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. She was raised in Huntsville and lives here with her husband and two children. Her hobbies include cooking, photography and traveling.


Katherine Kandell

Katherine Kandell, Au.D, CCC-A.

Katherine Kandell joined Physicians Hearing Center in June 2012. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Louisville in 2012. Dr. Kandell completed her fourth year externship year at Civitan-Sparks Clinics in Birmingham, Alabama. She is licensed in audiology by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology & Audiology. She is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency. Dr. Kandell’s clinical experience includes diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid evaluations and fittings, electrophysiological testing and vestibular testing.

Katie was born and raised on Long Island, New York and now lives in Huntsville. Her hobbies include training and showing her dressage horse, running, and spending time with family and friends.


Chassity Hancock

Chassity Hancock, M. CD., CCC-A

Chassity Hancock graduated from Auburn Univeristy with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders in 1997. In 1999, she graduated from Auburn with a Master in Audiology, and completed an externship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, is licensed in audiology by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology & Audiology, is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency. She has worked for North Alabama ENT since April 1999.

Chassity grew up in Pisgah, Alabama and now lives in Scottsboro with her husband Chris, and her two daughters, Emma and Ella Rose. Currently, her hobbies include whatever activities her children are doing.


Anita Giles

Anita Giles, M.S., CCC-A

Anita Giles is an audiologist with clinical experience providing services for both adult and pediatric populations. She graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Master of Science degree in Audiology. She is licensed in audiology by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology. She serves on the executive board for the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama.

Anita grew up in Birmingham, AL and has lived in Huntsville with her husband, Tom for the past 15 years. She is active in her church and the Huntsville Civitan Club.


Melissa Henson

Melissa Henson, MS, CCC-A, FAAA

Melissa Henson recently relocated to Alabama joining Physicians Hearing Center in June 2015. Melissa joins our practice with over 25 years of experience as an Audiologist in Paducah, Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders in 1986 from Murray State University and her Masters of Science degree in Audiology from the University of Louisville in 1989. She has obtained state licensing in Audiology from the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology as well as state licenses for Kentucky and Tennessee. She is a long standing member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology. She is also a current Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Melissa was born and raised on a farm in western Kentucky but is currently living in Madison, Alabama. She enjoys the great outdoors and spends as much time as possible camping and hiking throughout the surrounding area. She also enjoys playing tennis and spends her spare time on the courts.
